Hi

I had a problem using the combination of these 2 because the IP was the
same. Now I changed the router IP 192.168.2.1 and It works great.

I used the same router with the original IP (192.168.1.1), different
modem (Comcast) and the port forwarding was working fine. I tested the
ports 8000 to 8005 because I use to see a TV using a streaming tool that
needs at last one port open.

So I'm pointing my attention to the IP but I'm not sure how to solve
this. Maybe It's not the IP at all.

Someone could help me with this matter ?

Thank you very much in advance.

Bye

Fabio

Hello Fabio:

In other words, are you saying that in your Atlanta GA suburb, your
present ISP, Datatex/CBeyond gives you ADSL service? So, when you
connect your Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G BroadBand Router to your/their
present Motorola 2210 ADSL modem, are you stating you're no longer able
to receive streaming video that you once did when you had Comcast
Internet service?

Please restate your situation if I have it wrong.

If you eliminate/bypass your Linksys WRT54G Router, are you able to
receive the streaming video you desire?

Pete

I can but It slow. They, streaming guys, suggest to open some ports
(8000 to 8005) in order to enhance the performance.
I could do this before with Comcast, same router, same ports, some port
forwarding.

I haven't tried. I'll give a try soon.

Thanks for the moment

Bye
