I can't find a yes/no as to whether its supports WPA or not in the
latest firmware. Anyone know?

Dan

I just installed it today (ver 2 firmware) and it indeed supports WPA!

Don't use the setup CD. Just surf to 192.168.1.240 when wired to it
with your PC as 192.168.1.241. Login as admin, admin and set up
manually to match your access point.

I give it 4-1/2 stars out of 5 for the bad quick start manual; it should
clearly state how to do a manual set up.

Works wonderfully and looks good snug against the power outlet.

After working perfectly the WRE54G started to pass traffic very slowly.
If I reboot it, it works fine for a few minutes then slow again. My
guess is disabling WPA would fix this problem, but that is not an option
for me. Unfortunately, there is no updated firmware for the unit.
Hopefully, I can return it. Updated rating: 0 stars
