I've just downloaded the newest drivers for the WPC54G card, and I can't
figure out why I can't get it working. I have to go back to the 1.21
drivers to be able to connect to my WAP54g. As far as I can tell, I'm
doing everything right. The WEP keys and the SSID were the same both
with the 1.21 drivers and with the 1.3 drivers, yet I would not be able
to connect to the WAP (or anything else) with the 1.3 drivers...
As far as I can tell, there's really only one difference when
configuring for WEP, and that is the option to specify open or shared
authentication. The new driver also comes integrated with Funk
Software's Odessy client for WPA, which is the reason why I wanted to
upgrade in the first place...
Has anyone actually been able to get the new drivers to work??
