Linksys WPC11 Question

I have two Linksys WPC11's. One is version 3, the other is version 4. What
is the difference between the two cards (if any)? I can't find any
information on the Lynksys website that answers my question. I did find a
few references elsewhere on the web relating to compatibility issues with
certain operating systems; however, these were just end-user comments. It
all seems a bit confusing.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance.

Light? One must suffer before enlightenment.

Flip the cards over and extract the FCC ID number. The first three
letters identify the manufactory of origin. They're probably
different. Next, go unto the FCC web pile and the FCC ID page at:
https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/c...ericSearch.cfm
and inscribe the FCC ID into the search boxes. If you don't get a
return, try just the first three letters. Zero and "oh" are
frequently indistinguishable on Linksys labels. It usually takes me
about 4 tries to get it right. You should find quite a bit of
internal information on the products.

Thanks Jeff. It gave me *exactly* the information I was looking for. I've
added this site to my favorites for future reference.
