linksys wmp54g vista problems

Hi

Anybody got a linksys wmp54g v2(with the broadcom chipset) wireless network
card to work with Vista x64.

It seems to install ok, but the onnection is very intermittent, it keep
diisconnecting every few minutes or so

I wondered if that was the reason

It does seem to install properly though - i.e. it picks up the broadcom
drivers supplied with Vista
and in device manager it says there are no problems with the device

Have you tried using your XP drivers?

I think that has worked

Replaced the default windows supplied driver with that off the linksys
website, and am not gettting any more disconnections.
I suspect it was due to fluctuations in the quality of the wireless
connection between the wireless network card and the router.
