I had the same problem after I upgraded a PC to xp pro sp2. The linksys
wmp54gs would no longer connect to a linksys wmt54gs. After a lot of trying
this or that and working with linksys to no solution, I saw on
microsoft.public.windows.network.wireless some one who pointed me to a ms
hotfix KB884020. After applying I recycled the wmt54gs and the pc. Problem
fixed.
