Has anyone experienced a problem where, after enabling WEP, a client
card refuses to reconnect to the Router (WRT54G), even after disabling
WEP???

My other machine worked fine, both with WEP and without WEP (laptop,
WPC55AG). Last time this happened, I had to reload the OS(win2k sp4)
to get it to work agian. Both the router and the PCI card are the
latest drivers/firmware...

I tried contacting Linksys Tech Support, but they are busy giving me
the run-around. I'd love to flame them here, but I'll resist....

I'm having the exact same issues. How did you get this resolved? Or
did you?

I had the same problem after I upgraded a PC to xp pro sp2. The linksys
wmp54gs would no longer connect to a linksys wmt54gs. After a lot of trying
this or that and working with linksys to no solution, I saw on
microsoft.public.windows.network.wireless some one who pointed me to a ms
hotfix KB884020. After applying I recycled the wmt54gs and the pc. Problem
fixed.
