Linksys Wireless Network Adapter with Windows 98

I am unable to install the adapter. The drivers are not
on the 98 disk for the install of this product. The
specified paths from the install disk are not working
either. Has anyone overcome this problem and can help me?

Follow the directions exactly for the version of windows your using.
You have to install the drivers from the installation disk provided with the
NIC then shut down and install the NIC afterwards.
If it asks for the Win98 disk make sure it's pointing to the drive the disk
is in and pointed at the folder labeled win98. As I recall there is no
browse button on the dialog box you get at this point, one has to open the
little dropdown box and choose the drive then go up to the larger box expand
the folders and choose the win98 folder.

Are you using 98se? If it's a new product the Linksys box will say
okay for use on 98se, ME, 2k and XP
