Has anyone had problems shutting down XP after installing the media
adapter host services? I have XP home and SP1. After setting up, I
see a dialog box from time to time that reads something like "can't go
into hibernate mode while media adapter services are running". I
stopped the services before shutting down, and still, the OS will not
shut down (or log off, or restart). I can go to the commmand line and
issue a shutdown -s -f (force apps to close), but can't do it from XP.
Any ideas?
