it won't work with 98
assuming it's 98SE, are you trying to use WEP? First get it working without
WEP.
Make sure the laptop is set to Infrastructure mode.
Make sure the router has Wireless enabled
Is the laptop getting an IP address?
I'm writing from 98SE laptop with WPC11 card going to a Linksys router.
Works fine.
