LinkSys wireless card + orinoco AP = no internet access

Hi,

I am using 2 year-old Orinoco AP with Orinoco wireless cards. internet
Connections are fine. Recently i bought a linksys wpc11 v3 wireless
card. I plug in the linksys card, installed the latest driver from the
website but the connection to the internet is lost. I removed the
linksys card and replug in my orinoco card, everything is working
fine.

In addition, i have set the ssid and the wep as those that i have used
for my orinoco card. Any advice?

Is MAC address filtering active in the AP?

No, I do not set any MAC address filtering in the AP.

The ap model is Orinoco RG-1100 broadband gateway.

I have had loads of problems with the Linksys wpc11 cards. They work fine
in some laptops and although they install OK in other laptops you cannot
get a signal at all. I have stopped using them and switched to a Dlink DWL-
650+ and it works fine in all the laptops I have tried.

Its odd. DLinks access points suck but the Linksys ones rock. And visa
versa for the cards!
