Linksys wireless booster

Is that a linear for wireless like the ones you get for CBs? I want to get
more getout. how many watts is it and can I use it with other brands.

I read about a 1000 watt linear where can I get those and will it block
others who try to step on my transmit.

Sure until they get one too (leaving aside the related issues of a 1000W
amp at 2.4Ghz). There's an art in precise listening instead of just
shouting loud all the time.
