Linksys WGA54G wireless G LED

WGA54G game adapter connected to an xbox. AP WRT54G WEP is off, signal
strength is excellent. Xbox says it is connected and i can play online
(same result if i connect the game adapter to my laptop) but the
wireless G LED on the game adapter is not lit. After 20 to 30 minutes,
the wireless G LED will come on and remain lit. At this point i loose
connection and the game adapter becomes unresponsive until i reboot it.
The manual state that the WGA54G game adapters wireless G LED should
remain lit when connected to the network. No other device on my
network has this problem.
