Yes, I upgraded the WRT54G wireless router with the latest 802.11g
complient firmware (v1.30.1). There currently is no upgrade for the
WET54G firmware. I didn't notice an increase in signal strength over
the WET11 (it remained approx. the same) but the throughput decreased
by a factor of 10.
I wonder if it may have actually been a hardware problem as the
Linksys tech suggested?
