I cannot fnd very much previous infrmation on this group regarding my
problem so I would be grateful for any help.

I have had no problems setting up and using the WAP11 except for loss of
signal overnight.

I find that I cannot connect to the WAP11 using my laptop and Compaq WD110
card in the morning. I can Ping the WAP11 and access the web based setup
from a computer on the LAN side of the WAP11 but, there is no signal at the
laptop end.

Pulling the power out for 10 seconds and then putting it back in cures the
problem until the next day.

I use the laptop all day with no problem.

it's the famous WAP11 narcolepsy problem. It seems they were designed this way.

Make sure you have the most current firmware installed for the router. I had
a friend that was having the same problem and once I downloaded and
installed the firmware update for the router the problem went away.
