Linksys WAG54G Losing Wireless Connection (when not used......)

I have a WAG54G (with latest firmware) providing 1 wired and 1 wireless
connection.

The wired connection works fine. The wireless one works fine when it's
connected (apart from those odd times when the connection goes haywire for
various reasons).

However a couple of times a week when I turn my PC on (the one that is
connected by wireless), it cannot detect a wireless network. Netstumbler
cannot detect any AP's either (not surprisingly). If I log in to the router
using the wired PC, all seems fine except the actual "web interface" for the
wireless section doesn't respond too well which makes me think that the
whole wireless part of the router (software/hardware) is having sporadic
hiccups.

Turning it off and back on again fixes it but it's a bit inconvenient if
someone is using the connection at the same time.

Has anyone else noticed the same problem with the same bit of kit?

Thanks

Anth

Yes i had the same problem, do you have windows xp? if so you need to
turn off 802.1x authentication. how when you NIC tryies to connect to
the router it tryies to get authenticated by the router and if you
dont have this setup it will no connect to it. I've disabled this and
I havent had a disconect sence.
Let me know if it does anything.

Josh
