With the Linksys Router WRT54GS and WRE54G you can change the password
name but no way to enter a User Name at least from what I see.

Any ideas on how to add a User Name?

Thanks
Patty

With the stock firmware it can't be done.

There also is no real point in doing it either.

Why is that? Having a user name seems added security. OK, not much but
still. Even hardware routers have this problem.

The only reason to be logged in is for systems administration
work, which requires you be the superuser.
