Unlikely, what was the specific model name/number?

A few days ago, I ran out and bought a LinkSys Wireless Access Point/Router.
"G".

Today I bought a LinkSys wireless print server and a USB Adapter for my other
PC. Both "G".

The print server is doing WPA with the router, no problem.

But the USB Adapter's web page only knew from WEP, so I returned the thing.

About three lost man hours later, I have to wonder: could I have just downloaded
new firmware and flashed the thing to get it to do WPA?

Per Ryan Younger:

Gone. Deep in the bowels of CompUSA's return bin.

Something that ended in "54G", though. It was the little one that plugs into a
USB port and has it's own little extension cable/stand for locating it somewhere
besides right at the port.

On each of my two other LinkSys products, however, I now notice a "Firmware
Upgrade" option. They want you to have something downloaded already and point
to it via a Common File dialog.
