Personally, I would use the WET11 (make sure you use the latest
firmware). I assume you want the following:
PC - - - - WAP11 (or WET11) - - - - - WAP11-router
Well first off, make sure both WAPs have seperate IP addresses. I
don't know anything about the WAPs, but I do know that the bridge
(WET11) does have a "signal view" function. You can check you're
connectivity by pinging either wap or your router. This won't tell
you what your signal strengh is but you would be able to confirm
connectivity.
