linksys router makes sound

Hi,

I have a linksys WRT54GS router with speedbooster.
The problem is that the router makes a sound.
At day I don't hear it with all the other sounds and the sound is not that
loud but the router is next to my bed so at night I hear it and I can't
sleep with it.

The sound clearly comes out of the device itself, not the power supply, if I
disable the wireless completely in the router then the sound is also gone.

Anyone else having this problem?
Is this sound normal for this model?

What happens if you put the device on some soft foam ?

Even if I hold it in my hand I can hear it, it's not very loud but it's a
high sound, it makes me crazy when I want to sleep ;-)
