Linksys router/Adelphia Powerlink -- what software needs to be installed?

Hi --

I currently have a Dell running XP hooked up directly to a SB4101 using
Adelphia Powerlink. I have bought a Linksys Wireless-G Router. I will be
putting a wireless card in the Dell and moving it downstairs; an older IBM
running Win 2000 will be put where the Dell is now and probably wired
directly to the router.

My question is: Powerlink came with a set-up CD. Do I need to install that
software onto the IBM? Also, the router instructions tell me "make sure you
have the setup information for your specific type of internet connection".
I have the MAC address; is there anything else I need?
