Need a little help on a network configuration.

I have a D-Link DI-624 RevC router connected through a straight
through cable from port 1 to a Linksys EZXS55W Hub connected to the
cross-over port. For some reason, when I connect a *computer* to any
port on the Linksys hub (except the one shared by the crossover), the
crossover port on the Linksys hub continually resets. When I just
plug in a D-Link print server, it's fine. Suspecting the 3Com nic
card in the computer, I replaced it with a Linksys card but did not
fix the problem. I flashed the firmware of the D-Link router to the
latest and greatest - no help. The hub does not have any firmware
upgrade options.

Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this reset problem?

cheers --
