Hi.... I recently bought a linksys NP10t PCMCIA card for
my Dell Inspiron 8000 with Windows ME on it. I am looking
for the "Windows Networking Components" ( I think ) to
run this card. It is not on my systems hard drive, I have
tried the following locations.... windows\system,
windows\system32, windows\system\cabs,
windows\system\cab. I also tried to access this info from
my CD that was given to me with the computer. NO LUCK!
It says that it can not find file np10t.sys. At one point
throughout the install, it was asking for np10t.inf. I am
guessing that this is the driver, which I do have! (the
only thing!) Any help getting the thing working would
rock. I am at a loss and thje people I bought it from
have been some help, but they can't seem to steer me in
the direction of the FIX!!!

Thanks People!

Shay

Let me join you. My installation of a Linksys Wireless
USB Network Adapter has met with the exact same problem.
I'll try to follow this list, but would appreciate an
email if/when you get an answer. BTW, works perfectly on
an XP machine! Bruce (E-Mail Removed)

I got mine working now, all I did was remove it from the
system properties and restarted the computer. At this
point, when it asked for the for the missing file, (and
prompts you for "windows mE disc" I directed it back to my
floppy drive for the linksys card, I have no idea why...
but it worked! Hope it works for you too.
