LinkSys BEFW11S4 & WMP11 Problem

HELP WANTED


I have a LinkSys BEFW11S4 Access Point/Router running fine with my 150k
cable modem.

My main PC (Newest 2K Athlon) is connected to the router on port 1 via a
Ethernet card.

A second PC (older 233MHz machine) has a LinkSys WMP11 wireless card
installed.

RF signal levels are good to very good.

Both PC's are running Windows 98 second edition.


The problem I have is that around 5 to 10 minutes after I switch on the
second PC I get a connection to the InterNet but then it fails. The
wireless card stills shows a good connection to the Access Point.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
