A really silly question.

I have a Linksys BEFVP41 VPN router (version 1 (with all the leds)),
connected to the Motorola SURFboard 4100 cable modem.
In this BEFVP41 model, the WAN port is a 10baseT (IEEE 802.3).

Is there any chance to hack this model, so the WAN port meet the 100BaseTX
(IEEE 802.3U) specification? Is it a problem of firmware or a problem of
hardware?

And wath are the diferences between version 1 and version 2 of BEFVP41,
beyond the fact of version 2 have few leds and their WAN port are
100baseTX.?

thanks.
lr
