There is a little routine you may have to go through to get it to work.
Power down everything, including the DSL modem. Then power up everything in
the following sequence; DSL modem, router, and then your PC(s). After this
it should work. The cable modem has a DHCP server function in it and the
router has to get it's address from the cable modem. Also some broad band
service providers need the MAC address of the network device connected to
the modem, your computer's NIC card. If the above doesn't work, and your
service provider requires the MAC address of the NIC card in your computer,
you can use the MAC clone feature of the router to clone the PC's NIC card's
MAC address. See page 19 of the router's manual. Let us know if this works
