I purchased a BEFSR41 from a fellow off the Low End Mac Newsgroup. I got
it set up and working as a Router without the Cable Modem. Now The Red
Light is on Constantly. I can't access 192.168.1.1 and I can't seem to
be able to Download the Firmware Upgrade from the Linksys SITE. The
Router Doesn't seem to Reset either.
Is there a Way to Upgrade the BEFSR41 without the Cable Modem ???
The DHCP Is working and Most of My Computers can see it and I can
transfer Data between Computers

If it isn't connected to your cable modem how is it connected to the
internet?

The router must be between the modem and the computers.
