Is it possible that a Linksys 54G router , with the latest firware, would
lose its settings just by turning it off, NOT resetting it mind you.

One of my clients routers "lost" its settings. He did not push the reset
button, he said. But I have not had a rouer lose its settings by powering
it off. I did not argue, I just redid them. John

I saw this happen with my Linksys wrt54g. I know I did not reset it, but I
may have power-cycled it. All of the sudden there was this "Linksys" SSID
showing up... Kind of scary when you think about the default settings
on these boxes...
