For the past year I've been networking 2 computers off of a Linksys
Etherfast cable 4-port router (BEFSR41). I'm about to get a wireless
notebook computer. In preparation, I've bought a Linksys WAP11-b access
point. I'm assuming that I can just plug the AP into the router, and run the
two desktops (wired) and the notebook (wireless). Is it this simple? For
instance, it's not clear to me which of the router ports I plug the AP into.
The ports in the back of my router look as follows:
WAN 1 2 3 4 Uplink
My cable modem currently plugs into WAN, and the two desktops into ports 1 &
3.
Thanks,
Mike
