Hi all, This is not a network problem as such but I would like to link 2
pc's to one broadband connection via a linksys BEFRS41 router. I can
connect both pc's to the internet individually by connecting the modem
connection to either, but I would like to connect both through the routher
and need to know which way to connect these. I have tried connecting the
broadband feed to the routher and then using a network cable from the router
to the pc but this doesn't seem to work on either, although I thought I had
set it up this way before. Any help out there please? Thanks Jim

Hi jim!
Connect your modem to wan port of the router, it is the left most port on
the router, a little left to the rest 4 ports. Connect your 2 pc's to any 2
ports from the 4 ports on the right.
Make sure you use cat5 patch cord. After this you have to configure the
router.
Here is the link for it ftp://ftp.linksys.com/qinstalls/befsr41V3_fs.pdf
Make sure you have configured your network card correctly to get IP
automatically. Use DHCP in router to get dynamic IPs on both computer.
Hope this helps.
