Anyone know how to check my telephone line stats

Instructions for an old man please lol

I want to check what sort of broadband speed it should support

Which is only a guess, not a best guess, just a guess anyway..

true enough, but it suggests i may get 6500 bras profile, which is what i
get, got to be right sometimes (even within a meg or so it gives the guy an
idea, and with so much being dependant on internal wiring and hardware (and
ISP) any estimate is just that.

And with some ISP's you can view you BRAS profile
on line via their customer portal.
