I have 3 pc's networked. All running ME. Two are hardwired to a Linksys
Wireless G router, the third uses a Linksys wireless card. When set up all
worked well, but since upgrading the wireless PC there are some probs.

The two hard wired PC's can access each other and internet - no issues.

The Wireless PC displays the shared folders in Network Places and can access
those folders. However, when I click Entire Network in Network Places it
says it cannot access the network ??. Finally, the wireless PC cannot
access the internet, tho it is defo getting a connection to the router if it
can browse the shared folders .

I've checked PC names etc and router admin but I'm stuck .

Any suggestions

Andrew

What signal strength do you get and what IP address does the wireless PC
get?

Seem to have made some progress. The Linksys wireless card was showing DHCP
disabled. Tried a few tweeks and its now enabled and internet works.

Signal is only FAIR but gets a reasonable transfer rate 11 kbps. Transfers
across the network are fine so dont think the strength is an issue. Still
cant browse the newtork from the wireless pc tho.

Do you get any messages when you try to browse?

No messages other than the standard window in the browser when it cannot
find server. Anyway, glad to say I seem to have sorted it. Found a screen
on the Wireless card software and it seemed to have DHCP disabled hence no
net. Re-enabled it and bingo. No idea how it got disabled.

Thanks for your responses anyway.
