I noticed that we have help desk staff that have access to DHCP. How
can I go in and limit which users can access DHCP? Any info would be
greatly appreciated.

I'd take a step back and look at what domain groups your helpdesk staff are
members of.

I found this on my own. For anyone else who wants to know, it is all
controlled through the default users container in AD under your domain.

That is what I am doing right now. I inherited this network and looks
like some changes are going to be in the works.

Here is a delema. I am looking at our DHCP Administrators Group and
DHCP Users Group. In the admin group we have our tier 2 and tier 3
groups. The users group has our tier 1 support. I have triple
checked all groups and only the users that need to be in those group
are there. I just checked with one of the users that is a member of
the tier 1 group and he was able to add a DHCP reservation. Does
anyone have any ideas of what other groups might have access to
manipulate DHCP?

Hello MarineGeek,

What do you mean with this "it is all controlled through the default users
container in AD under your domain"? Please be more specific.

Best regards
