A liitle wireless / wire issue

Can anyone help with this?

A friend has called to say he's just installed a semi SOHO wirless
netwok. Doesn't really understand and difficult to be precise at a
remote distance. But what seems to be the case is:

Cable modem into a wireless D Link router into a wireless PCI on the
main PC. Internet connection is OK.

Wired PCI LAN link between main PC and 2nd PC links fine and can file
share.

But 2nd PC cannot pick up an internet connection from the main PC.

Any thoughts? Not the best config for sure but there it is. It goes
into box 1 but wont come out or be available to box 2.

Default Gateway needs to be set to the IP address of the wired NIC of
the first PC on the 2nd PC.
