Hi!
I get this error, I know it has got to do with licensing. I have 3 servers
running which when purchased I have got 5 CAL's each. Later i purchased more
licenses and have added using the Licensing from the Administrative Tools on
the D.C. The purchase history says I have 70 licenses now. The present users
who are in the domain are close to 60.
Yet I keep getting this error.
What should the license mode be - per server or per user/device ? I have it
as per user/device.
Seriously, I am not that aware with the licensing part- if anybody can pl
guide me, I will be very thankful.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: LicenseService
Event Category: None
Event ID: 202
Date: 9/21/2006
Time: 12:11:54 PM
User: N/A
Computer: SGP001
Description:
The product Windows Server is out of licenses.
Use Licensing from the Administrative Tools folder for more
information on which users are out of compliance and how many
licenses should be purchased.

Hi!

If you have more than one server licensing per device/user should be more
cost effective.

The license logging service is buggy and is not mandatory. I would stop and
disable it and keep track of your licenses manually. You'll be presumed to
be in 'per device / per seat' mode at that point.
