License logging errors

On a couple of my servers such as email and terminal servers I receive the
following error:
"Replication of license information failed because the License Logging
Service on server \\DC1 could not be contacted"

I have verified that the License logging service is running and all of these
servers are on the same subnet with no firewalls in between them. I've gone
one step futher and verified that there are no Firewall settings enabled on
any of the servers. What else might cause this type of error?

You've covered the main reasons, assuming DC1 gets resolved correctly to the
right server. Have you tried using dcdiag to test connectivity to the DC?

Hello JBeckett [MCSA],

Just disable the License logging service on your servers. That will prevent
the entries in the event log. Theire was always a problem with the license
logging service that never works correct.
