Hi

I am trying to set up my servers so that my network can access the Inter
through our new leased line. I have 2 NIC's in the server. The private
interface has the following details
IP 10.1.1.11
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway 10.1.1.10
DNS 10.1.1.6

The router address is IP 88.97.64.12 Subnet 255.255.255.224. How should I
configure the Public network interface?

Thanks
TJ

Perhaps OT, I strongly suggest you get a decent firewall appliance to handle
this for you instead. Unless you need it for ISA or a third party proxy
server app, there is no benefit in having two NICs on your server (and many
downsides). This is especially true if you run AD and this is a domain
controller/DNS server.

You really don't want a public IP address on any device on your network and
it will make things much easier for you and your users if you use a firewall
appliance your server & all your clients just point to its LAN IP for their
default gateway, and hence have Internet access.
