Hi all,
I have to get these statistics in Wifi hardware for an university
study:

PHYSIC LEVEL {
SIGNALS TRANSMITTED
SIGNALS ARRIVED WITH POWER ABOVE RX SENSITIVITY
SIGNALS ARRIVED WITH POWER ABOVE RX THRESHOLD
SIGNALS RECEIVED AND FORWARDED TO MAC
COLLISIONS
ENERGY CONSUMPTION (IN MWHR)
}
DATA LINK LEVEL {
PKTS FROM NETWORK
UCAST (NON-FRAG) PKTS SENT TO CHANL
BCAST PKTS SENT TO CHANL
UCAST PKTS RCVD CLEARLY
BCAST PKTS RCVD CLEARLY
RETX PKTS DUE TO CTS TIMEOUT
RETX PKTS DUE TO ACK TIMEOUT
PKT DROPS DUE TO RETX LIMIT
RTS PACKETS IGNORED DUE TO BUSY CHANNEL
RTS PACKETS IGNORED DUE TO NAV
}

The usual programs such as netstumbler, kismet or wrapi (CRAWDAD
project)
don't show all of them. I'm searching around but still haven't found
nothing
satisfactory.
Any suggestions on how to get this data?

thanks in advance for help,
stef

Yes. Use SNMP. Not all wireless devices support SNMP but there are
enough that do. See if what you need is in the 802.11 MIB database
at:
http://www.LearnByDestroying.com/cru...02dot11-MIB.my
There are also manufacturer specific MIB's with more data.

Incidentally, usenet is not an appropriate place to ask questions
about your homework. The typical college has many more resources than
can be found on usenet.
