"This is an update to the previously announced problem whereby some
broadband customers are experiencing difficulty connecting and seeing errors
such as "invalid username or password", "error 691" or "error 718". A copy
of the last announcement can be found here:-

We have been in contact with BT Wholesale who have informed us that the
problem has been caused by a Major Service Outage (MSO) on their network.
The problem doesn't appear to be localised to a particular part of the
country. Some customers have reported to us that the problem appears to be
intermittent and have been able to connect after retrying.
This issue is not affecting customers on our LLU platform.
We are currently waiting for a further update from BT regarding this problem
and will post an update as soon as we have more information."
