Who makes laptops with integrated 802.1g? Everyone seems to have 802.1b.

Sorry, I think the correct terminology is 54 g wireless!
Not sure what it is going by these days.

The Mac Powerbook 17" comes with Airport Extreme, which is 802.11g. Of
course, you'd have to buy a Mac, but having Macs, Windows, and Linux, I
can tell you for certain that wirelessly networking a Mac is a hell of a
lot easier than wirelessly networking Windows or Linux. (But, of course,
you are then stuck with a Mac, upon which NOTHING else is easy).
