Laptop not recoginzed on network

I've got a MN-700 Wireless-G. I have two (at one time
three) desktops that work well. I added a notebook using
an MN-510.

The notebook CAN get to the internet, but only sees the
other computers as 'other device', and the other desktop
computers don't see the notebook at all.
I've been fighting this problem for weeks now, and could
use some ideas.

Any help would be appreciated.
