laptop on multiple networks

Ihave a home network and a work network, both with the same
name. When I log on at home it works fine but when I try
to log on at work I get the "can't browse the network"
message. If I engage the "network troubleshooters" part of
the help system it says that I may be using a name that is
already on the network. I have changed the name of the
laptop but it doesn't help.

What is the best way to set up a laptop to work on multiple
networks. Thanks.
