laptop logon question

I have a user going to africa for a few weeks. how long can he continue to
log on to the laptop with his domain credentiuals before it he would have to
revert to a local account on the laptop?

Where would I find out more info on this?

Your user should be able to use his cache credentials for the time he is in
Africa. As far as I remember the cached credentials do not expire, just over
written. Windows remembers the last 10 (if I remember right) successfull
credentials and over writes the oldest ones when a new login is presented.
