i have 2 laptops and 1 desktop systems in my home network. The desktop and
one laptop is running windows xp home edition. the other laptop is running
xp professional. The wireless network is an SMC.

For some reason, i don't know why none of the machines can ping each other
although thru the smc administration screen, it sees all 3 computers.

In the past, i had a laptop with windows 2000. Back then, the xp desktop
can ping the windows 2000 laptop but not the other way around.
