Laptop Adapter Setup

I have recently scraped and reinstalled everything on my
laptop - and I have a problem setting up my adapter.
Everytime I turn my PC on I must use the Setup Wizard to
get my adapter to work. It doesn't seem to hold the
settings. It is a MN-720 (?) adapter on an HP running
WinXP Home with the Microsoft Broadband software.

Right now the adapter is working great, but when I shut
off the PC it seems to loose the settings.

Are you using Windows or the BNU to configure the MN-720?

If you are using the BNU please uninstall it, upgrade to SP2, & start
using the WZC service to configure your wireless connection.
