I currently have a standard phone and seperate ADSL connection in my
flat.

Id like to integrate all this into CAT5e and rip out all my exist
standard BT wiring.

How exactly do i put my telephones onto CAT5 and what equipment (if
any) will i need to purchase to do this.

If i was to do this how would i connect my ADSL Modem to the phoneline
since there would be no standard UK telephone sockets?

Anyone know the best place online to purchase wall mounted RJ45 boxes?

any help appreciated!

There'd have to be a master socket. If you don;t even know this, you
ain;t up to the job.

Basically it sounds like you don't have a clue. People like you wire up
to the circuit side of the master socket and then get stung
£££shitloads when your half baked wiring fucks up BT's exchange.

Sounds like you've a lot of research ahead ;-)

Google for "structured cabling".

Equipment wise you'll need:
A switch (for the PC network side of things only)
A network equipment cabinet, nuts etc.
A patch panel,
Small cable ties,
CAT5 cable,
Patch leads,
Data modules and face plates,
Back boxes,
IDC tool,
Wire cutters,
Trunking,
Cable tester (useful if you're a beginner)
Patience.

You'd still have a master socket, move this (naughty!), or if this isn't
possible, run a feed off it back to where you'll have your patch panel.

There are literally hundreds of places, Google for them. I use City
Electrical Factors a lot, they aren't the cheapest but they've a branch
around the corner.
