If the pc is able to connect to the Internet when wired to the router
but unable to connect wirelessly, the likely causes are:
1. The wireless adapter in the pc is turned off or has failed
2. The wireless adapter in the pc is unable to authenticate because the
security settings are incorrect. For more suggestions, see MVP Jack's
site:
http://www.ezlan.net/wireless.html
A little more info from you is in order.
Can you see *any* wireless networks? If you are using Windows to manage
your wireless adapter, this would be the "Choose a wireless network"
screen:
http://screenshots.modemhelp.net/scr...ks/Index.shtml
Can you see *your* wireless network (which assumes that you have
configured your router with a recognizable non-default SSID)?
What happens when you try to connect to your wireless network? Please
give the full text of any error message.
