I have setup a LAN between two machines, ME and XP. When
I print from the ME machine to the XP printer the Job is
sent and then the ME machine dials up my ISP. The print
job successfully completes. How can I prevent dialing my
ISP every time I print and still have auto dial for my
email send/receive and IE? - Thanks, Gary

Under the Connections tab, found in the Internet Options icon in the Control
Panel, tell it to Never Dial.
