LAN Messaging Client

Hello all,

Does anyone know of any LAN messaging software that uses a window to display
the communication between users.

What I want is a way to send a text URL to a user on my local network, then
have that user be able to copy and paste the URL into a browser and visit the
site.

Disregard earlier post as a coworker suggested a program named LanTalk which
does exactly what I needed and works great :-)
