I own a Dlink DI-542 wireless router, and I really need to change the
ip range for LAN conections. By default, that range must be 192.168.0.0
with a 255.255.255.0 netmask.
I need to change that range to a B class ip (i.e. 172.16.1.0) but I
can't. Do I need to upgrade my firmeware or something?
Does anybody knows if I can access to that router via telnet, o
something?

Thanks.

Try changing the router LAN address first. See

Just out of curiosity, why do you need to?

What do you mean by can't.

I already saw that page, and that's where I can change the router ip
address, but I need to change the ip range for the dhcp server.

did you change the ip address of the router first and then the ip range for
LAN connections (DHCP)?
I have changed the ip address with 2 SMC wireless routers and also with my
DI-524.

sorry if this has already been answered!
