LAN drops under P2P with Asus WL500g

Overall happy with my working Asus WL500g wireless router, I'm having
trouble when using P2P (DC++)
After some every 10 min the connection with the router is dropped.
Only reconnectiong solves this and after the next 10 min it drops the
connection to my router again. This happes even with a small amount of
active connctions
What setting should I adjust here??

Router firewall off
McAfee firewall active
Wireless mode : auto
UPnP under windows activated
